Summary

The Digital Brand Specialist is instrumental in driving a unified digital point of view across digital brand community and commerce in partnership with the client through the use of creative content development. As part of the digital brand advocacy team, the Digital Brand Specialist may be involved in every phase of a project from initial client contact and building rapport to better understand client's needs, through digital and social media implementation, to the utilization of appropriate assessment tools for the monitoring of project success.

Responsibilities

Advantage Sales and Marketing LLC dba Advantage Solutions is one of North America’s leading sales and marketing agencies specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management and marketing services to manufacturers, suppliers and producers of food products and consumer packaged goods. Advantage Solutions services a variety of trade channels including grocery, mass merchandise, specialty, convenience, drug, dollar, club, hardware, consumer electronics and home centers. Job Duty

  • Complete project work within the digital brand advocacy team to include:
    • collaborating with team and client to identify and recommend brand strategies for clients
    • implementing strategy across social media platforms using creative content
    • working alone and with analytics team to benchmark success, and assess growth opportunities
    • building rapport with clients to further relationships and increase sales
  • Assist Digital Brand Managers with introducing business to potential clients through:
    • development of clear and engaging presentations, utilizing current PowerPoint capabilities, graphs, charts, and graphics
    • participation in sales meetings

- This position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reports

Minimum Qualifications

The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

 

Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

 

Field of Study/Area of Experience:  Marketing, Business, or related fields
• 1-3 years of marketing, e-commerce or other field; social media experience highly preferred
• Background In ecommerce and online marketing desired

 

 

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• High level of Initiative and ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong quantitative skills with a working knowledge of data software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to achieve success by transforming ambiguity into clear standards and practices
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook, database experience is a plus
• Desire to contribute to a positive work environment and create success for clients and team members
• Ability to build relationships across teams and clients
• Ability to mulit-task and streamline processes
• Passion, integrity and energy

 


Environmental & Physical Requirements

Office / Sedentary Requirements
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each  day),  ability  to  hear  the telephone, ability to enter  data  on a computer  and may also require  the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
