    Responsibilities:

    • Support the Business Development VP and Senior Manager, and cross-functional partners developing client research against Sales Division’s Business-Development initiatives utilizing company's category management resources to pull preliminary assessment data (growth, conflicts, etc.) for new business targets.
    • Support Customer and Client Teams on the development of presentations.
    • Maintain the Business Development department pipeline in CRM.
    • Develop and manage internal associate communications on behalf of executive leadership.
    • Manage client communications on behalf of executive leadership.
    • Work on Ad Hoc Strategic Projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience
    • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing field and/or in office management
    • Analytical and Research skills
    • Strong prioritization skills
    • Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent customer service orientation

    Position Summary

     

    The Manager Business Development’s primary function will be to support the Business Development team on the writing, updating, and production of the Request for Proposal response, and interview presentation materials for the Sales Division’s business-development initiatives. 

     

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

     

    RFP Development and Support

    • Support the Business Development VP and Senior Manager, and cross-functional partners developing client research against Sales Division’s Business-Development initiatives utilizing company's category management resources to pull preliminary assessment data (growth, conflicts, etc.) for new business targets                          
    • Develop RFP  and “Campaign” materials including:
      • Creative teaser outreach/introduction
      • Exploratory meeting presentation development
      • Exploratory meeting creative follow-up
      • RFP response
      • RFP interview meeting teaser
      • RFP interview presentation
      • RFP interview creative follow-up

    Communication/Project Management

    • Drive and contribute to Inside Advantage (quarterly client communication)
    • Support Customer and Client Teams on development of TTT presentations or truncated corporate presentation “modules”
    • Maintain Business Development department pipeline in CRM
    • Manage Town Hall preparation activities, including presentation material development
    • Develop and manage internal associate communications on behalf of executive leadership
    • Manage client communications on behalf of executive leadership
    • Work on Ad Hoc Strategic Projects

    Minimum Qualifications

     

    Education Level: (Required) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

                                         

    Field of Study/Area of Experience: 

    5+ years of experience in sales and marketing field and/or in office management

    Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.  Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
