We are seeking a dynamic Software Engineer to join our growing Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) team.   If you are a full stack developer who enjoys working on a small team to tackle back office and enterprise-wide challenges, then we would love to hear from you.  We are an agile team that works on a wide variety of custom applications including mapping systems, electronic signature applications, retail signage creation systems, asset tracking applications, custom reporting tools, messaging systems, and much more.  Our diverse backlog of projects and tasks will allow the right person for this position to experiment in new technologies, develop team standards & frameworks, grow our portfolio, and increase our user base (internally and externally).

 

Software development is the primary duty of the position along with involvement in requirements gathering, testing, post-launch support, and continuous improvements.  The application development group works closely as a team, and this position plays a key role in the success of the department.

  • Design Solutions – Working with stakeholders and business analysts
  • Develop Web Applications – Designing and coding solutions
  • Test Web Applications – Unit testing and working with QA
  • Deploy Web Applications – Code deployment and working with the infrastructure team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • At least one-year development experience using:
    • .Net
    • C#
    • HTML
    • JavaScript
    • CSS
    • MVC
    • Visual Studio
  • Familiarity with the following is a plus:
    • Angular
    • JQuery
    • T-SQL
    • Bootstrap

Minimum Qualifications

The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required):  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience         

 

Field of Study/Area of Experience:  Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction or other related discipline

 

1 or more years experience:
• .Net, C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, MVC, Visual Studio

 

Additional experience a plus:
• Angular, JQuery, T-SQL, Bootstrap, REST

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.  Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
