The Reporting and Analytics Manager is an analytics professional who thrives on the opportunity to collect and assimilate data from large data sets. The successful candidate will be expert in managing various technologies to build, maintain, and disseminate reporting on a scheduled cadence to market leaders, business managers, customer managers and other Company Analytics personnel to facilitate data-driven insights to build client and customer businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform data collection and generate reporting using visualization tools in a timely manner.
  • Evaluates data collection process to determine efficiencies.
  • Review data for inconsistencies and errors.
  • Monitor and conduct routine data management to ensure data integrity.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Accountable to the schedule of project delivery.
  • Participates in RAVE activities in order to drive value creation measurement with clients, customers, and internal stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or equivalent job-related experience required
  • 1-2 years in a data management role, preferably within CPG industry or related supplier or agency role
  • Intellectually curious, eager to problem solve, and a quick learner
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets; an appetite for numbers and analytics
  • Good communication – written and oral – skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Syndicated Data experience: Proficient in IRI and Nielsen data platforms

Data Collection 

  • Perform data collection and generate reporting using visualization tools in a timely manner
  • Evaluates data collection process to determine efficiencies

Data Management 

  • Review data for inconsistencies and errors

Project Management 

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Accountable to schedule of project delivery
  • Provide coverage and support to other team members

Associate Development 

  • Participates in RAVE activities in order to drive value creation measurement with clients, customers, and internal stakeholders

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

Direct Reports
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports

Indirect Reports
- May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Minimum Qualifications

The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required): A.S. in Computer Science, Data Management, or equivalent job-related experience

 

Field of Study/Area of Experience:
1-2 years In data management role, preferably within CPG industry or related supplier or agency role

  • Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets; appetite for numbers and analytics

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize business requests
  • Good communication – written and oral – skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and desire to succeed (often with minimal supervision)
  • Microsoft Office experience: Advanced knowledge of Excel; Proficient in PowerPoint
  • Understanding and application of Power BI preferred
  • Syndicated Data experience: Proficient in IRI and Nielsen data platforms

 

Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
