Sr. Manager of Data Quality
The Sr. Manager of Data Quality is a senior data professional tasked with driving and upholding the highest standards of quality across the organization’s analytical data assets. This leadership/hands on role involves developing and executing comprehensive data quality strategies, measurement frameworks, and processes that ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data for business insights, analytics, and decision-making, while adhering to strict security and compliance standards.
As a key advocate for data excellence, the Sr. Manager of Data Quality will establish, enforce, and elevate data quality standards throughout the organization. They will actively collaborate with data governance bodies, cross-functional teams, and senior stakeholders to address data issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions that enhance data integrity. Additionally, this role will provide strategic recommendations to continuously improve data quality and foster a culture of data stewardship across departments. Having hands-on expertise in Data Quality is a critical requirement.
Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficiency with data quality and data management tools, specifically across platforms such as Informatica, Databricks, SQL Server, SAP and power BI. Strong understanding of technology ecosystems that support data governance, quality monitoring, and integration.
Deep knowledge of cross-functional business processes and their impact on data quality, especially in complex, data-driven environments. Ability to anticipate how changes in processes affect data quality and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Extensive experience in data quality management within CPG and retail sectors, including a thorough understanding of industry-specific challenges, regulatory requirements, and best practices for data management.
Robust expertise in data quality principles, metrics, and management practices, including experience in mature data environments with well-established data governance. Familiarity with data lineage, data cleansing, metadata management, and related capabilities.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, data governance bodies, and executive stakeholders. Strong communication skills to influence peers and champion data quality initiatives organization-wide.
Ability to think strategically about data quality as a business asset, with strong analytical skills to interpret data trends and drive data-informed decisions. Comfortable setting quality standards and building frameworks that support long-term data integrity.

Travel
Travel and Driving are not essential duties or functions of this job.
Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Field of Study: Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent job-related experience. PMI Certification is desired but not required.
Experience Requirements: 8+ years of experience in project management of varied complexities and scope.

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer, and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
