Summary

Analyst IT PA (Information Technology Planning and Analysis)


The IT Planning Analyst will support the team in managing, documenting, and delivering all aspects of IT portfolio planning and analysis, with a focus on achieving FTE capitalization targets and managing vendor spending. They will support collaboration between ITPMO, Finance, and Strategic Sourcing in achieving portfolio goals.

Responsibilities

The Company services a variety of trade channels including grocery, mass merchandise, specialty, convenience, drug, dollar, club, hardware, consumer electronics, and home centers. We bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the IT organization time tracking process by managing weekly reporting, conducting weekly analyses, monthly analyses to support invoice processing, and ad hoc analyses as needed.
  • Contribute to the IT Vendor Management framework through ongoing tracker updates and ad hoc analysis.
  • Maintain and update the ITPMO Teams site and Routine and Rituals annual calendar as needed.
  • Assist in managing and documenting IT portfolio planning and analysis efforts.
  • Assist with the ITPMO onboarding and offboarding process.
  • Assist with weekly IT intake governance call recaps.

Does not have direct reports but may delegate work to others and provide guidance, direction, and mentoring to indirect reports.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: Bachelor’s degree

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business Administration or Project Management

Experience Requirements: 2–4 years of experience in a related field

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Decision-making skills and sound judgment
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
  • Ability to ensure high levels of service and quality are maintained
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced Excel skills – vlookup, pivot tables, referencing, sorting, and filtering

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
