Summary

The Senior Director Growth Initiatives works with cross functional teams to lead initiatives for the enterprise.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities 

1. Partner with enterprise program managers for Breakthrough Initiatives, Transformation Initiatives, Integration Initiatives across all Business Units and Shared Services
2. Work closely with cross-functional teams, EOE teams and assigned Business Unit and Shared Services Initiative Sponsors to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
3. Manage Breakthrough initiatives and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
4. Report detailed status updates to Business Segment and Shared Services leadership and executive team
5. Apply change, risk, and resource management principles when needed to initiatives
6. Work with leadership to set strategic goals and objectives for programs (Breakthrough Initiatives, Transformation Initiatives, Integration Initiatives)
7. Resolve problems between program teams and other internal stakeholders.
8. Coordinate with program managers and other stakeholders to create detailed implementation plans. This includes deadlines, milestones, processes, and risk mitigation protocols.
9. Provide processes for monitoring performance and collaborating with program teams to determine ways to improve.

- May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business Management
- 8+ years of experience, with progressive responsibility in program project management

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
• Proven track record as a successful program director, program manager, or project manager
• Experience managing teams through long, complex program implementations
• Knowledge of current program management methods and best practices
• Experience managing staff and budgets
• Excellent data analysis and reporting skills
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
• Experience with industry-standard project management software and tools
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
• Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadline
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
