The Senior Vice President of Accounting, Corporate Controller, is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the global accounting operations of the company. This individual will ensure the integrity of financial information, compliance with regulatory standards, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals. The SVP will provide strategic direction and manage a high-performing team, serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Position Summary
The Senior Vice President of Accounting, Corporate Controller, is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the global accounting operations of the company. This individual will ensure the integrity of financial information, compliance with regulatory standards, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals. The SVP will provide strategic direction and manage a high-performing team, serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align accounting practices with organizational goals and strategies.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Provide actionable insights through financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Partner with the CFO to drive initiatives related to financial transformation and technology enhancements.
• Supports the SVP of External Reporting in the preparation of the annual report and quarterly SEC 10-Q and 10-k filings.
• Supports the Head of Internal Audit to ensure all narratives and control processes applicable to the Corporate Accounting Department are documented and appropriate.
• Maintain a robust internal control environment, identifying and mitigating financial risks.
• Liaison between external and internal auditors.
• Assists with various accounting functions in problem resolution as needed or special projects assigned by the Corporate Controller or CFO.

Attract and retain top talent, ensuring succession planning and career development.
Promote collaboration and innovation across departments to enhance operational efficiency.

- May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports
Travel and/or Driving Requirements
- Travel and Driving are not essential duties or functions of this job. Minimal travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: (Required) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
(Preferred) MBA Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience: Finance
CPA Required15+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience, including public company and SEC reporting.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
• Expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, and other regulatory standards.
• Proven experience leading large, diverse teams across multiple geographies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and managing complex projects.
• Ability to visualize and plan objectives and goals strategically
• Demonstrated ability to provide cross-functional leadership
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to develop strategic plans to grow the business
• Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships
• Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment
• Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers
• Knowledge of computerized information systems used in financial and/or accounting applications
• Intermediate level knowledge of PC software applications and strong understanding of PC operating systems
