Senior Media Director
Our Sr. Media Director is responsible for helping our clients navigate the evolving retail media landscape. A seasoned and agile media expert, the ideal candidate can deliver sound media strategies and seamless execution across an omnichannel ecosystem, including in-store, open web, digital on and off platform. They are responsible for leading the agency's efforts in integrating suitable vehicles to create Shopper Centric Branding that delivers results for our clients. They have a close eye on the emerging retail landscape, understand the nuances of Retail Media Network and ad tech in the space and lead the charge across their team in guiding and receiving buy-in on recommendations. The role of the Sr. Media Director is to lead a portfolio of clients, developing and managing the retail media strategy, planning and execution.They are responsible for client leadership, retail partner leadership, program strategy, resource planning, client growth and associate growth and development across their assigned book of accounts.

Direct supervision of 7+ roles, including Directors, Media Supervisors, and Ad Operations Managers.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead and inspire a team of top-tier media talent, including recruitment, coaching, education, and retention. Oversee the day-to-day integrated media teams and the application of media vision to ensure it spans all ongoing initiatives.
• Establish strong relationships with client peers - trusted as a key business partner by mid-level clients and recognized by the most senior clients as a key advisor.
• Consistently get the highest quality work out of the team while fostering a healthy and energizing work environment.
• Develop and present clear, articulate, and compelling strategic plans, points of view.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements, workflow efficiency, and deliverable quality.
• Build demand for media services by demonstrating impact, supporting business development opportunities, and growing existing client relationships.
• Support the vision for the department offering and manage the investment plan (both human capital and tools) to achieve that vision.
• Serve as a retail and commerce media evangelist across our team, educating and inspiring both clients and agency staff about best practices and emerging trends, upselling services and client work.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct Reports
- Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources
Indirect Reports
- May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports
Travel and/or Driving Requirements
- Occasional travel required for client meetings, team leadership events, and industry conferences.
Minimum Qualifications
The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study/Area of Experience:
10-12 years of experience in digital advertising with a strong focus on programmatic media, including strategy, planning, and execution.
5+ years in leadership roles, managing teams of programmatic specialists, analysts, and media planners.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Ads, The Trade Desk) or advanced training in programmatic media technologies are preferred.
