VP Compensation
The Vice President of Compensation leads the strategic development, execution, and continuous improvement of the company’s global compensation programs, ensuring they align with the organization’s pay philosophy and support business objectives. This role oversees all aspects of base pay, incentives, and equity strategies across diverse regions, partnering closely with executives and HR leaders to deliver competitive and equitable pay practices. As a senior leader, the VP of Compensation fosters a high-performing team and champions a fair approach to compensation that promotes compliance, internal equity, and employee engagement on a global scale.

Responsibilities
In partnership with the senior vice president of total rewards, responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of the company’s global compensation strategies. Owns the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the organization’s global base pay, incentive/commission, and variable compensation programs, ensuring they support the company’s pay philosophy and business objectives
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global compensation team, fostering a collaborative and growth-orientated environment
Serve as a trusted advisor to executives, HR leadership, and business leaders, providing insights and recommendations on compensation matters
Develop and execute ongoing comprehensive education and training material on compensation philosophy, structure, and processes. Responsible for the development and implementation of compensation policies
Own and maintain a comprehensive internal pay equity strategy, ensuring fair and transparent global compensation practices across the organization. Oversee the analysis, monitoring, and reporting of internal pay equity, using tools and insights to identify and address disparities proactively
Ensure global compliance with compensation laws and regulations including wage transparency, minimum wage adjustments, and pay equity legislation
Qualifications
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred)
Experience Requirements: 10 years experience in relevant field (Compensation experience preferred)
Travel requirement: No travel requirements
Supervisor Responsibility
Direct Reports: Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources
Indirect Reports: May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports
Required Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of best practices in global base pay, incentive, commission, and variable compensation programs, including their design, implementation, and management
Advanced skills in designing and managing global compensation structures
Expertise in developing and executing compensation strategies that align with organizational goals and a pay philosophy that supports both external competitiveness and internal equity
Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage compensation tools, data insights, and reporting capabilities to support strategic decisions and evaluate compensation outcomes
Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
