Sales Growth Manager
The Sales Growth Manager is responsible for representing 90+ clients for headquarters sales, promotional planning, and trade show representation across multiple smaller or regional retailers within an assigned geography. This role requires strong organizational and client service skills to ensure effective execution of sales programs, clear communication of retailer requirements, and coordination between clients and customers. The role also offers opportunities to expand analytical capability, strategic influence, and retailer coverage as part of a defined progression path.

Responsibilities
Explains cost of entry, logistics, and basic requirements for doing business with retailers
Manages client and customer expectations to ensure smooth execution
Executes promotional planning, new item submissions, and account-level sales plans
Provides account-level return on investment recommendations to maximize trade spend
Advises clients on product positioning, pricing, and promotions within assigned accounts
Builds strong relationships with retailers and clients
Uses task management tools to stay organized and communicate effectively
Represents client brands at local trade events, store visits, and retailer sales pitches, driving distribution gains and incremental product placements at the store and territory level
May be required to travel around 25%.
Qualifications
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree
Experience Requirements: 4-6 years experience in relevant field
Supervisor Responsibility
Direct Reports:This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports
Indirect Reports:Does not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports
Required Knowledge and Skills
Understanding of retailer distribution networks, margin requirements, and promotional mechanics
Ability to apply sales data and customer feedback to identify tactical growth opportunities
Experience selling into retailers or possessing in-depth retailer buying knowledge
Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage a high client load and multi-retailer coverage
Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
